ARCHANA & SHANKARA WEDDING

Archana & Shankara live on the east coast. When they first inquired about photography and video, they lived in New York and New Jersey respectively. All of our meetings took place over Zoom Video calls. They had such a chill and relaxed attitude about them, I knew our style of wedding photography and video would suit them perfectly. Shortly after they secured their wedding date with us, we finally met in person to photograph their engagement session around the University of Michigan campus in the middle of February! I have to admit, I was a little nervous about how well we would all do in the middle of freezing temperatures. What I did not expect was that we ended up having a blast! I knew then that they were going to have a stellar wedding come the following August, 2021. 

In addition to becoming one of our highlight weddings that year, Archana & Shank gave us an opportunity we will never forget! They commissioned our video team to film our first wedding and officially launch this new wing of Ray Anthony Weddings! The wedding day finally came, beginning with getting ready photos at Forest Lake Country Club in Bloomfield Township, Michigan where the couples’ outdoor wedding ceremony was also held. Their exquisite reception followed at the downtown Birmingham, Michigan Townsend Hotel. DJ’d by one of the industry’s best as well as my favorite to work with: DJ Sandman.
